I am Başar Demirel, born in Ankara in 1977. I completed my primary education at TED Ankara College and my secondary and high school education at FMV Ayazağa Işık High School. For higher education, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Systems and Industrial Engineering from Yeditepe University and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Commerce University. Following my entry into the real estate sector, I also completed Associate Degree programs in Real Estate and Real Estate Management as well as Social Media Management at Anadolu University, believing they would contribute to my professional development.
I hold university-certified Trainer, Educational Coach, and Life Coach certifications. Additionally, throughout my professional career in the real estate sector and beyond, I have completed countless training and certification programs within the companies I have worked for or owned.
Since my university years, I have seen entrepreneurship as a necessity for my country and a passion for myself, embracing it as a life philosophy. I have continuously developed this trait, both in the companies I established and in the private and corporate firms I have worked for. In every stage of my life, I have made it my duty to serve the community I am a part of through association work and social activities.
During my university years, I served as the President of AIESEC North Cyprus, the world’s largest international student organization. Later in my career, I became the President of JCI Kocaeli, a branch of one of the world’s largest civil society organizations, contributing to the local community while enhancing my experience in international cooperation.
To contribute to my profession, I am currently a Board Member of TÜGEM Bodrum, Turkey’s largest civil society organization in the real estate sector. Following my experiences in the IT, Food, and Automotive sectors, I worked for eight years in the Defense Industry, holding roles as Project Engineer, Project Manager, and General Manager in projects related to Marine, Chemical, and Technical Textiles.
In 2012, I entered the Real Estate sector, serving local and international clients in Kocaeli and Istanbul through various corporate real estate companies, both as a company owner and as a senior executive and General Manager. I have facilitated the sale of nearly 1,000 properties and, in 2020, decided to continue my career in Bodrum. The search for alternative opportunities to satisfy real estate investors under today’s conditions led me to explore and offer overseas investment opportunities. For this reason, as of 2024, I am continuing my career as a Global Real Estate Investment Consultant with CB Trio, one of Turkey’s most established and powerful real estate offices.
I specialize in International Investment Consultancy, Sales to Foreigners, Off-Plan Sales, Project Development, Digital Marketing, 360-degree Real Estate Marketing, and Real Estate Valuation. Additionally, I hold the necessary certifications for becoming a real estate consultant, including the Level 5 Responsible Real Estate Consultant and Level 4 Real Estate Consultant qualifications. I am also an authorized examiner and trainer for these certifications. I continue to provide various training and coaching services to real estate consultants, firmly believing in the inseparable virtues of trust and merit, and I work diligently to uphold them.
